New York Portrait Photographer

Any New York Portrait Photographer you ask is sure to agree that the places in New York City are as fascinating as the faces you find in them. From Central Park’s majestic beauty to 5th Avenue’s edifying Museum Mile – there is definitely no shortage of interesting natural and manmade architecture in this city. But while nature pretty much takes its own course, the marvels of manmade architecture in New York owe their enthralling beauty to architects – young and old, past and present. Although many of New York’s architects are homegrown, there are also many others who are imported. Take famous Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava’s design of the World Trade Center Transportation Hub, for example. Calatrava’s creation was unveiled to rave reviews from professionals and ordinary citizens, alike. It is a backdrop many a New York Portrait Photographer has gladly taken advantage of. Working in places far away from home is something young Luca Vigliero understands well. This Italian architect moved to Dubai in 2007 to take up a job offering there. He has since earned promotions and increased responsibilities to match his growing talent. At X-Architects in Dubai, he has worked on designs for museums, cultural centers and villas. Here, he is photographed in his Jumeriah Beach Residence apartment looking out on a landscape he seems destined to leave his mark of creativity upon. Looking at the picture there can be no doubt that it is exactly what his mind is working on. The portrait shows this young professional with a look of determination on his face, his stance reminiscent of someone lost in deep thoughts. The creative notion of a portrait showing an architect looking out through and out at architecture really appealed to me. It contrasts well to the often-used idea of having an architect stand in front of and be framed by a particular structure.
