I truly relish being in the group of gifted and sought-after New York City Headshot Photographers. My camera’s lens and I get an abundance of unique opportunities to see the many different, wonderful facets of this city. Undoubtedly, New York is the best known major city in the world. It is also America’s most populous city and certainly its most culturally diverse, as well. Here, homegrown talents and artforms meld with those imported from around the globe. The result is something that is as beautiful as it is edifying. Cultural festivals are an amazing way to share this experience with as many people as possible. Ordinary citizens, well-known figures, locals and tourists alike come together to enjoy the varied displays of talent. And, New York City Headshot Photographers become an integral part of it all. Half a world away, there is another city, that fully understands the many benefits to be derived from the staging of cultural festivals. That city is Abu Dhabi, in the United Arab Emirates. One of its most renowned events is the annual Abu Dhabi Music and Arts Foundation festival, more commonly referred to as the ADMAF festival. The “young” man pictured here knows the ADMAF festival very well. He is accomplished English cellist Matthew Barley, known for his giftedness at improvisation, classical and contemporary music. Barley has even described himself as “an extreme cellist.” This headshot of Barley (taken for M Magazine) shows him and his cello both standing tall and proud. That look of intensity in his eyes is one you are sure to encounter if you have the pleasure of watching one of his performances. Barley has performed at the ADMAF festival on several occasions. He has also led the festival’s education program for children. He uses it as a platform to share his love of music with young musicians and to inspire them as they develop their own talents.
