As an expert in Corporate Photography, Washington DC is one of the locations along the US East Coast where I have found marvelous diversity in the types of photography jobs that are available. Portraiture and event photography account for many of jobs the that professional corporate photographers, such as myself, are called on to do. Certainly, this is as you would expect in the corporate photography field, regardless of where you are working. In terms of the more specific area of corporate event photography, the jobs in DC run the gamut of possibilities from large events with hundreds in attendance, to much smaller and more intimate gatherings. No matter the size of the event, when it comes to Corporate Photography in Washington DC, I keep this important fact in mind: the pictures I take represent added value to the staging of the event. That is what my clients are after, as those photos may end up in promotional material, news releases, on the entity’s website or trending on their social media page. Those same benefits are evident in corporate portrait photography. Whether the photos are taken in the company’s offices or in a studio setting, my job with the shoot is to make the company and its employees look really great. I know I am tasked with having the client’s desired brand image projected in each and every picture. Of course, quite often, corporate photography jobs take me out into the field, on location to a factory or processing plant of some kind, as in the photo shown above. This particular plant runs non-stop – 24 hours, every day of the year. Each day it grinds more than 45,000 bushels of corn, a sample of which is proudly displayed with the two light sources in the ceiling seeming to act as spotlights for the main attraction -all that corn!
