Expert Washington DC Event Photographers are often called upon to cover functions where high-profile dignitaries and political figures are in attendance. That’s no surprise, really, since Washington DC is the nation’s capital and seat of all three branches of government. Washington DC events are by no means limited to just those of a political nature. There are festivals like the annual awe-inspiring National Cherry Blossom Festival. It is held to commemorate and celebrate the 1912 gift of cherry trees from Tokyo’s mayor to the city of Washington DC. There are also cultural events like Chinese New Year and St. Patrick’s Day celebrations. What cannot be denied, however, is that in Washington DC, events attended by prominent persons are an accepted norm. At such events, a knowledge of the requisite protocol is vital – the last thing clients want is for their photographer to be the cause of undesired incidents. My work as a photographer encompasses several countries on six continents and I have had, literally, a world of experience at events such as these. Just like other professional Washington DC Event Photographers, I know my way around events of this kind and how to get the perfect images for my client’s purposes. The above photo is a very good example. It was taken at the magnificent Mushrif Palace in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (UAE). The two gentlemen in the picture are His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE and Ruler of Abu Dhabi receiving South Korean President Lee Myung Bak at the Palace. Of course, I have also worked at events that are much more low-keyed than this, but what remains unchanged is the level of creativity, technical skills and professionalism I take to each job. It’s shown in how I prep for the event to ensure I get the very best images to deliver to clients once the event is over.
