As a specialist in Corporate Photography, New York and the other locations of the East Coast, hold special significance for me. I find that even though it is a region I am already intimately familiar with, each new assignment reveals new details in the form of interesting facts or intriguing local anecdotes that build my fascination with the region. I enjoy every new assignment there and I look forward to meeting my new clients. It is a pleasure to learn their stories and help to create the perfect pictures to match their needs. That’s true whether it is wedding, sport or Corporate Photography in New York, Boston or any of the other areas. For my corporate clients, it is often my job to highlight their drive for success in the photographs I take. In every case, I use my expert knowledge gained from years of experience behind the camera to guide those who stand before of my lens. Sometimes all it takes is a slight tilt of the head and we can achieve a huge difference in how the camera picks up the curves and angles of a person’s face. That effect is obvious in this corporate photograph of Lynn Gervais who, at the time, was the Director of Public Relations at The Ritz-Carlton, Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC). Although, her silhouette is completely forward-facing, that almost imperceptible tilt of her head adds a new dimension to it. It is a small adjustment that pulls you away from the symmetry that is shown throughout the rest of the photograph. That symmetry would also have been repeated in the line of her smile and how her hair falls on either side of her shoulders. Her smile and hair take on a more interesting and natural look, however, thanks to just that simple, small tilt of the head. It’s a part of what makes photography amazing!
